At the risk of floggin a dead horse, here is Pat Condell's take on the issue.

Feminism is no longer fashionable. Would it be feminist if I said, there's one thing that most women don't want to be, and that is unfashionable....

interesting as usual and humorous...loathe to call myself a feminist because I'm not actually one...apart from the fact I think men and women are equal...ROFL...damn I'm a liar, no we're not, women are far superior to men...BUT that doesn't hold water unfortunately...Thatcher destroyed my belief that women are superior to men...she proved that women are just as capable as men of making a complete and utter disastrous mess of our country, so I stopped being a feminist and decided we should all do whatever we think is right for us and therefore if some women choose freely to wear the burka, which, as I've stated before, I don't like at all, that's their business and if men want to walk around with huge bellies hanging over their trouser belts and wearing terrible clothes that's also their business or turbans on their heads and beards down to their belly buttons, that's not something for me to go around telling them they can't...do like Condell so enjoyed listening to this, but doubt if feminists are going to take this burka business up as a cause celebre...just too much of a hot potato for any group to tackle at the moment...
