I must agree with Tom, the clip does includes a strong element of religious propaganda, what I would class as a "false morality."
The reason there are fewer children is because women no longer want the bother of large families. I don't think men really come into the equation, as generally they will go along with whatever their chosen mates decide.
If society could convince women that more children would give them greater satisfaction, then there would be more children.
In the past childhood death-rates were so high that having lots of children was the only way of at least bringing two or three to adulthood. Modern medicine has made this precaution unnecessary, leading to most families having only two children maximum. As it would take a minimum of three kids per family to keep the population growing, we, in the "west" are experiencing a gradual reduction.

To keep a people going you need 2 things.
1) A homogenus country with secure borders.
2) an average offspring count >2
White europeans have neither of these.
Thats why White Europeans are going extinct. -

I didn't follow the final points about the womens rights, gay rights environmental issues all being wrapped up together and being based on 1970s' ideas about the population bomb.
In any event, its a very partial piece - no analysis of Indian, African, Indo-Chinese or Chinese population and demographic issues, for instance.-

Exactly. I would like to think that I support ME having rights (aka "women's rights") as being based on the fact that I am a human being who can think for myself, know what I want and make my own decisions, just like any other human being.

If it were true, the population reduction would be great news. The planet could do with far fewer humans. Unfortunately I don't think it is, and furthermore the religious overtones of that clip tend to undermine it.
